  • Mr. Yuan is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Simplicity Capital. He has more 12 years of experience in the finance industry and a strong investment track record.
  • Before founding Simplicity Capital, Mr. Yuan had 6 years of equity investment experience with  T. Rowe Price (Hong Kong). Prior to T. Rowe Price, Mr. Yuan worked at China International Capital Corp (Beijing).
  • Mr. Yuan received his MBA Degree from Columbia Business School, Master Degree from University of Illinois, and Bachelor Degree from Nankai University.

 

ZJ Shao

Investment Partner

 

  • Mr. Shao is the Investment Partner of Simplicity Capital. Before joining Simplicity, he has more  10 years of experience in the finance industry with many global top-tier institutions, including PIMCO, IDG, Apax, and Merrill Lynch. 
  • Mr. Shao received his MBA Degree from Columbia Business School.

 

Jeffrey Li

COO

 

  • Mr. Li has more than 10 years of financial industry experience. He co-founded Dongfang Runze Fund in 2021 and in-charge of all fund operations and compliance matters. Mr. Li also worked in a few commercial banks and family offices, responsible for client relationship management, product design, and compliance.
  • Mr. Li holds CFP license.

 

Queenie Ma

Partner, Head of Investor Relations

  • Queenie is a highly accomplished investment professional with over 18 years of distinguished fundraising and investment experience in real estate and alternative investments across APAC region.
  • Before joining Simplicity Capital, she served as Investment Vice President at PGIM Private Alternatives and had demonstrated exceptional leadership in marketing, product development, and setting up business infrastructure for new market entry. Her most recent track record includes closing a landmark $2 billion Global Data Centre Fund and executing numerous high-value deals during her tenure at M3 Capital Partners.
  • With a strong academic foundation from Cambridge University and the University of Essex, both with top honors, Queenie combines deep financial expertise with a proven ability to drive growth and forge strategic partnerships at the highest level.
